Home/Insights/A new home for RxVP

From the RxVP team · RxVP news

A new home for the voices shaping life sciences.

We have rebuilt rxvp.org around the people who make RxVP: the speakers who lead our panels, the participants who join them, and the organisations who back them.

Four people of different ages and backgrounds, with world maps painted on their shoulders

RxVP started with a simple belief: the best way to grow as a leader is to hear directly from the people who have already done it, wherever in the world they work. Our ambition is to be a truly global community, one where leaders from every region are heard, not just the usual voices from the usual places. Our panels have grown, our global speaker network has grown, and the website needed to catch up. Today we are launching a new rxvp.org.

Welcome, Catherine Canales

The new site is the first big project from Catherine Canales, who has joined RxVP as Head of Strategic Growth and European Alliances. From Barcelona, Catherine leads our strategic growth and European alliances and is shaping how RxVP connects speakers, sponsors and audiences. She will be working closely with our speakers and participants, helping them share their perspectives, grow their visibility and connect with each other across regions. The new website is the first step: she rethought it not just as a showcase, but as the place where our community meets and grows.

Catherine brings a truly international perspective. Mexican-German by birth, she grew up in Mexico and Italy, spent more than three decades in Switzerland and now calls Barcelona home. She works in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, and has led commercial teams and client relationships across Europe and beyond.

Catherine is a commercial leader in life sciences and CROs, the founder of ChiliPink and NoGap, and the author of the forthcoming book Your Safety Net. Her work centres on one idea that fits RxVP closely: expertise is rarely the gap; visibility is.

A new look, with an open seat

Three speakersOne open seat

The RxVP logo has four seats: three filled and one open. The filled seats are the speakers on every panel. The open seat is for whoever joins next. That idea now runs through the whole site, in a violet and gold identity that is warmer, brighter and easier to read on any screen.

You will also see new portraits: people of different ages and backgrounds with the world painted across their shoulders. They are a reminder of what makes an RxVP panel different. The perspectives come from everywhere.

Meet our speakers

Our speakers directory brings together senior executives from across the industry and around the world: Vice Presidents, Presidents, C-suite leaders, board members and founders, from global pharma to biotech, CROs, medtech and health tech. Each profile shows where a speaker leads, what they know first-hand and how to connect with them.

We are also widening the circle. The industry tends to hear from the same markets and the same voices, so we are inviting leaders from regions and markets that are rarely heard on the global stage. Their experience brings new perspectives to familiar challenges, and shows how leadership works in places the headlines often miss.

Speaking at RxVP is by invitation. If you lead at VP level or above, or know someone who should be on a panel, request an invitation.

Clearer about how a panel works

An RxVP panel is one hour: 35 minutes of discussion between three senior leaders and a moderator, then 25 minutes that belong to the audience. The new Panels page sets out the format and the topics we cover, each seen through a global and regional lens. Everyone who joins plays a part: you ask the questions, and you carry the conversation further.

Close to half the hour belongs to the people in the room.

Women’s leadership, all year

Many of our speakers are women leading at the top of the industry, and women’s leadership runs through our panels all year. On 8 and 9 March 2027 it takes centre stage with The World Connected, our International Women’s Day event: 36 hours, seven live panels across five continents, with women leaders passing one microphone around the world.

Simpler ways to take part

  • Speak. Speaking at RxVP is by invitation. Speak at RxVP explains how invitations work and what we look for in our speakers.
  • Sponsor. The sponsor page outlines our IWD 2027 packages. Get in touch to find what fits your organisation.
  • Develop your people. IGNITE, our coaching programme for emerging life sciences leaders, has its own page.

And a place for perspectives

This article is the first on Insights, where RxVP speakers and our team will share short, personal pieces on careers, leadership and how the industry looks from different parts of the world. The RxVP Podcast, hosted by our co-founder Suzette DiMascio, is coming soon.

Take a look around, and tell us what you think.
